Re: Insights, Doug Collins, “Volcano spews straight Commie
Stuff.”

Your world of negative obsession, of normal standards no longer
apply to this world.

Your powers of degradation and racial intolerance will soon die
and pass like sand blowing through your aging bones.

1 welcome a world of freedom, and limitless brotherhood of all
“strange people.” It will be a far better world than the one you raised
us in. Any wonder why we turned out the way we did?

Speak the truth and run may be
wise advice. But it is advice Doug
Collins spurns.

This obstinate, oft-maddening
figure tells it like it is then stands
back as all hell breaks loose about
his grizzled head.

Teen mother remembers

Dear Editor

Re: North Shore Neighbourhood
House, pregnant and parenting teen
photo and caption Aug. 21.

It is truly sad that these young
mothers can’t afford basic infant
necessities on their meager welfare
dole. | know, because I've been
there myself, and the memories are
still vivid.

At the time, | did not feel the
financial pinch that choosing to use
disposable diapers and artificial
feeding (formula) could put on a
budget.

I lived in a dark basement suite
that had a laundry, so for both health
and financial reasons, 1 used cloth
diapers. “They (parenting teens)
can't use them because they don’t
have washing machines.” They use a
washer for their clothing. do they
not?
