Luxury cars, such as the Toyota
Celsior (Lexus 1.8400) and Toyota
Soarer (Lexus $C400). highlighted
the fourth floor. With a grand
piano and a French restaurant, the
fourth floor resembled the lobby
of a five-star hotel. There is also
a consulting counter, where one
can ask a variety of quesiions
related to the luxury models being
displayed.

The top floor, called the
AMLUS Hall, is basically a party
hall, with special events scheduled
throughout the year. The music
events are organized by Katsuhisa
Hattori, one of the well-respected
music directors in Japan.

By now, my estimated one-hour
“tour’’ had become a two-hour
one, and I hadn't finished the

hasement level vet!

On this tevel, you can also
spend a good part of your after-
noon at the Car Library, where
you can choose from the thou-
sands of books, magazines. and
videos available, although many
of the choices were obviously
from Toyota's PR (public rela-
tions) department.

With the exception of the res-
taurants and special events on the
fifth floor, afl services are offered
free of charge.

With access to so inuch interest-
ing information on Toyota pro-
ducts. | had only one complaint
leaving the AMILUX building:
