CGA wins award

NORTH VANCOUVER resident
Andrea Agnoloni, an accountant
with Piccone Holdings Ltd., has
been awarded the Dave Elder
Memorial Award in accounting by
the Certified General Accoun-
tants’ Association of B.C. (CGA).

The award is presented to the
student enrolled in the CGA Lec-
ture Program at the University of
B.C. with the highest average
standing in the first writing of the
accounting courses in levels one
and two of the five-year CGA
course of studies.

The two levels cover financial
accounting one and two, econom-
ics two, managerial math and
economics one, quantitative
methods two and management ac-
counting one.

The CGA is B.C.’s largest pro-
fessional accounting association.

The comphrensive CGA educa-
tional program combines full-time
work experience with the accoun-
ting profession’s first course of
studies to integrate microcomputer
technology.
