ways parents can interact with

stimulate their language
development.

On February 11, Edna
Durbach, an early childhood
educator, will trace the begin-

nings of friendship from its
biological basis through to its
development as social

interaction,

On February 18 Barbara
Pierce & Polly Evender, two
North Shore parent par-
ticipation preschool super-
visors, will present a hands-
on, multi-media workshop,

exploring play & play
materials.

On February 25 Mary-
Ellen Meunier, Director of
Playcare
couver, will examine adult
communications expectations
& responsibilities in guidance
situations with, young
children.
