night and Were to reappear
in court Friday.

Anderson’s body had been
found in a backyard at 3959
Prospect Avenue by a
woman who had _ been
walking in the neigh-
borhood.

An autopsy showed he
died from a severe laceration
of the throat and it is
believed the murder took
place where the body was
foind.

RCMP detectives have
ascertained that the victim
had been drinking in a North

Vancouver bar prior to his
death and it is believed that
alcohol was a factor in the
murder,
