Charges have been laid
against another North
Vancouver man as a result of
a sexual. attack on a girl in
West Vancouver.

The charges of attempted
rape and gross indecency
relate to an alleged attack on
a 14-year-old girl on Mathers
Avenue, July 7.

This attack followed hard
on the heels of two rape
incidents alleged to have
taken place in West Van July
4 and 5 as a result of lone
women being picked up in
Vancouver and driven there
by the men charged with

OFF TO the Klondike Days celebrations in Edmonton, are these
members of the North Vancouver Youth Band. Sixty-nine members of

raping them, one at gunpoint
and one at knifepoint. Rape
and confinement charges
were laid against a man from
West Van and another from
North Van.

In this third incident,
police say the girl was
walking along Mathers at
about 6:20 p.m. after
returning from Vancouver
and was dragged off into a
bush area. Police allege the
man had a small pocket
knife with him.
