THE North Shore Health Region axed nine
administrators last week.

Gone are no human resources directors, an information s
tems director, an cducation services director, 3 purchasing dirce-
tor and a plant serv (maintenance) director. Three managers
in finance, food services and community services were also termi-
nated.

North Shore Health Region (NSHR) spokesman Clay Adams
said some of those who lost their jobs were “long: serving”
employees. Adams said the move was part of a management
restructure plan te consolidate 10 positions into four.
