Last Thursday about 45 ladies met for tuneh ac Delphine Masterton’s beautiful ted and breakfast establishment, Laburnum Cottage. The nesabers were down from iyo years aga for a variety of reasons, but the sun shone and the memories tlowed. Their parents were the pioneers of the North Shore, and some of then lived in what are now heritage homes. Hopetully Dick Lazenby’s record of those times will make if into print soon. See if you can spot these sisters next time you visit the Gueen's Cross neighbourhood pub. The Scott girls grew up in the home that used to stand on the site and pictures of (from left) Thelma, Pam, Idina and Monica are in the pub.
