F.D.: “LE went through all the different levels just like everyone else. Thad to spar three times. [ remember clearly the day I tested for my black belt. Like right after the test, F couldn't walk, You know I was real dead. My instructor made sure I really earned my black belt, and you know what? It feels good! Because whenever you work hard for something and you achieve it, you always feel etter about it. Since I am the founder of sport kickboxing, I have to test in front of people with 2 or 3 higher degrees than fifth for myself to be cxam- ined.” R.W.; How large is your membership? As far as the female and male, f believe we are at half and half. It used to be that about one-fifth would be ladies. Now we're ar half and half -— a lot of Jadies.” RW. What is the aver- age age of people who join kickboxing? B.D. “We start then here at the age of four, Four and four-and-a-half is good, And then up to sport kick- boxing we do have a 57- year-old student here. So I guess up to 60." R.W.: What is the per- centage of people who actu- ally make it to the black belt level?
