David James McClain, 30, is charged with bres aching parole and possessing a narcotic in connection with the incident. A West Vancouver Police spokesman said McClain and a 21- sareold Surrey tian were arrested after police invemigated Car-vasing reports in ule 1O0-block of 19th Street and ihe 1500-block of Duchess Avenue. The Surrey man faces a narcatic possession charge. The police did not disclose his name, The Surrey man was released with a court appearance notice. A police officer, suspicious of the car the main teftin, followed Ito Licyd Avenue in North Vancouver where it met with a LYS) Dodge Colt. The car had stolen licence plates, according to police. The driver, also from Surrey, faces charges of possessing stolen property, misusing licence plates and having no msurance.
