AWARD WINNER FOR THE second year in a row the North Vancouver-based Sylvan Learning Centre has won two prestigious awards, Marray and Adrian Parker, along with partner Kathleen Casprowitz, opened their first Sylvan Learning Centre on Lons- dale Avenue six years ago. Their aim was to offer a service to parents and students who wanted a supplement to regular schooling. The team subsequently opened centres in Richmond, Coquitlam, Surrey and most recently Kelowna. The first award the Parkers and Casprowitz received this year was the Multi-Unit Operator’s Award, which honors a multi-unit’ opera- tor who has demonstrated the ability to implement and maintain quality centre operations and con- sistency. The second award received was the prestigious President's Award.
