Sunday, April 4, 1993 - North Shore N Powers that work behind the scenes JUST AS approximately 4% of our vast, universal mind is “conscious”? and the rest is below the level of conscious activation, the ‘‘powers that be’? are running the show from behind the scenes in such a way that even the so- calied ‘‘front men,’’ prominent government administra- tions and various international . alliances, do not really know exactly what is going on. Consider our ‘“‘individual’’ lives. They are directed by our own demands so much more than we tealize, but very often these de- mands are unconscious. - We would often be horrified if we knew what we are really trying to do. We try to protect ourselves and what we feel belongs to us from “threats” that are often are not real threats according to mature adult criteria. Yet we structure our world according to them. If we were (which, indeed, we are) those hidden ‘‘powers that’ -be,’? we would operate (we, in fact, do!) in the very same man- ner. These forces to which I refer (in their worldly aspect} want restruc- turing to occur without jeopardiz- ing international stability. On the face of it, President Bill Clinton’s platform was to make the U.S. economy more secure after years of focusing on foreign policy. ‘ Boris Yeltsin faces the same challenge — to build up the eco- nomic state as a basis for political stability. ; Both the U.S.A. and the C.I.S. know that they cannot’ play a significant. role in the world without strong economies. This we know. We read about it daily. The question arises: will we (who are not human beings “down here” having occasional spiritual experiences, but rather spiritual beings having a ‘human’? experience), so long . mired in the distraction of ancient territorial, ethnic, class and religious hatreds ... will enough of us acknowledge our longing for community, for unity? What many have been ‘‘waiting for’ is now being born, slowly and sureiy emerging over the next several months. What we have here, individually and collectively, is the dying of that which is no longer relevant to our further growth and develop- ment. . We are ‘‘in labor.’’ A new world dispensation is at hand. Attune and stay tuned. ALL SIGNS There is not necessarily anyone on the planet who will be willing for your needs to be met unless you are willing that your needs be met. it is entirely up to you. When you choose to move from unsatisfying compromise to un- compromising satisfaction, the en- tire universe trips over itself to provide you with what you need.
