from Chile ($22).

1 combined the Macul with an
opening order of Curried Mussels
($5.95). -

The dish included over a dozen’
‘steamed mussels in a spicy brown
curry broth that was afloat with

_ julienned carrots and red peppers.

. The musse!s were firm and fresh,
and the broth had an outspoken
curry kick.

Entrees sampled included a
Dundarave Bouillabaisse ($9.95)
and a Filet Mignon ($14.95): |”

The bouillabaise serving was
small, but the classic fish stew as
presented by the Dundarave’s
kitchen contained no white fish
filer; it was plugged with prawns,
mussels, clams and salmon meat.

The dish also came with two
slabs of toasted french garlic toast.

My eight-ounce filet, mean-
while, came charbroiled and
wrapped in bacon. .

The meat, cooked to a juicy
medium rare, was finished in a
rich red wine sauce. Accompany-

ing vegetables included two boiled .
