For those wanting to explore the outdoors, a workshop on Ex- ploring North Shore parks and trails will be offered Monday April 13, from 7 to 8 p.m. It will take place at recCentre Andrews, located at 9931 Lytton St. in North Vancouver. Participants will discover walk- ing, hiking and cycling oppor- tunities available on the North Shore. Additional topics to be discussed include accessibility, easy wulks for families and the essentials of day tripping. Volunteer Just For The Fun of ft is the title of a workshop being presented on Thursday, April 30 from 7 tc 8 p.m. It will be held at recCentre Delbrook, located at 600 West Queens Rd. in North Vancouver. During the evening participants will discover many volunteer op- portunities available with the rec- reation commission. A nutrition and weight loss workshop will be held on Thurs- day, May 7 from 7 to & p.m. at NSNH, 225 East 2nd St. in North Vancouver. Nutrition myths, that will heip participants to get on the right track to an enjoyable dict of healthy eating, will be explored.
