THE 25th annual North Vancouver District. Elementary ~Schools Track and Field’ Meet tore into action ‘Tuesday (June 3) at Burnaby’s Swangard Stadium. ! Approximately 1,000 students ‘from 30 District 44 elementary schools competed in 71 track and + 28 field events. Because the meet stresses par- ticipation over competition, there ° is no declared overall’ winner. Awards ‘are given to: the - first _ eight finishers in each event.
