upgrades

INSTALLATION OF a digital electronic
switch and new cable distribution systems arc
highlights of a program to improve service for
residents on the North Shore.

B.C. Tel’s expenditures
over the past year were
approximately $3-million.
In West Vancouver,
telephor. calls will be
handled by. digital elec-
tronic switching tech-
nology later this year
when installation and
testing of new switching
equipment is completed.
