Guinness in the West Van Legion when a
nice lady came up to offer her sympathy.

I'd had a rough time, she
said, what with being hauled
before the press council and
everything, and she wanted
me to know she was on my
side.

It would not have been
polite to argue with her, so |
didn’t. But she was wrong. |
haven’t had a rough time at
all. Whatever the council’s
decision may be, let it be
stated in advance that | have
enjoyed the whole thing.
