Two double-headers for the Jr. Bantam teams saw. the Stamps take their first) win over the Esks. it was a 20-0 game for the Stamps. Slot-back Ralph Ess- inger scored two touchdowns and kicked the {wo-point conversion forone. The third Stamps touchdown was scored by Phillip Mitchell. Later on Sunday the Stamps met the Chargers ina one-sided battle which saw the Chargers come out on top with a 42-8 victory. Once again, it was the Ron Gard- ner show as number 22 TOmped tor 5 touchdowns. The only Stamps touchdown was scored by Ron Essinger who also kicked the convert. Mondays, the Jr. Bantam teams were on the field again. In the first game, the Esks met the Chargers. In ther best showing against” the league-leaders, the Esks Wefence held the Chargers to only two touchdowns in a 14-6 losing cause. Once again, penalties took a heavy toll on the Chargers. The Esks touchdown was scored by Sean Sarson. In the second game of the day, the powerful Chargers suffered their first loss to the Stamps by a 14-12 score. Stamps were up by two touchdowns in the first half thanks to major scores by Ralph Essinger and April Meola. Ralph Essinger con- verted One with a two-point kick. Chargers fought back in the second half to score two touchdowns and convert one. In the second-last play of the game, Stamps blocked the attempted conversion to save the win. Key defensive work for the Stamps came from middle linebacker Jeff Keith with some important tackles by outside lineman, Jason Wood. BROWNS WIN After losing their first two games to the L.V.
