CA USEWAY CHANGES

The North and West Vancouver City and. District Councils want you to be aware of
an’ upcoming public meeting to discuss the proposed Stanley Park Causeway

t Safety Plan. The City of Vancouver Engineering Deparment has pre-
pa da plan that includes the following:

vs. Widening causeway lanes to the same width as improved bridge lar.es
¢ Realigning the s-curve at Lost Lagoon
-* Bus loop and underpass rebuilds
:@. Plus‘'a longterm commitment to remove vehicle traffic from the
“Causeway through the development of a new Burrard Inlet crossing.

“All three North Shore Councils have a strong interest in the plan, and West Vancouver and
: North Vancouver District are supportive of the proposed widening of the causeway lanes.
If the. plan is. approved, changes will be made to the existing Causeway project.

If this i issue is important to you, the North Shore Councils encourage you to
attend the Vancouver Parks Board Public Meeting to express your view.
