PATRICK Pennefather has made
clowning around his business.

As Professor Piano, he’s a very serious yer
zany piano “teacher” who ties desperately to
show kids of all ages and the young at heart
how to play the piano ina hilarious and enter-
taining way, says Linda Humphries of the
Celesta Girls’ C hoir.

gym is a benetit for the Celesta Girls’ Choir,
which rehearses weekly at the church and per-
forms choral concerts throughout the Lower
Mainland.

The 45-minute show follows the adven-
tures of Protessor Piano as he tries desperate!y
to teach his young “students” how to play the
piano,

Pennefather shows his skill at the kevbuard
by hammering out classical, jazz and improvi-
sational melodies.

Tickets are $5 for students and seniors, $8
