Some courses, even very
difficult ones, let golfers get
away with the occasional hook
or slice. Not so at The Falls, a
mountain-side course located
one hour and 20 minutes from
the North Shore.

The Falls’ 18 holes will
give fits to those those who hit
Jess than true. Even on the four
valley holes, there's no cross-
ing over to other fairways
without feeling a sting on the
score card,

The Falls’ dramatic holes
climb, dip and fall for a total
elevation change of 760 feet
(228 metres). Not surprisingly,
golfers are treated to spectacu-
lar views, narrow fairways and
a club-selection challenge.

As of late March only the
back nine was in piay, and per-
haps the most difficult of those
holes are not the mountainside
holes at all, but the long and
narrow holes cut along the val-
