North Vancouver District Library has a suggestion: stay close to home, relax a little, and enjoy a very merry - North Shore Christmas. There are a lot of things to do and presents you can give North Shore Neighbourhood House Senior Citizens Group will be holding a Christmas party and Tea on December 18 at 1:30 p.m. at the House. Members and their friends are welcome to the party. Donation of home-baked goodies from members for refreshments will be most welcome. Several activitics are now going on for seniors at the House. A hearty hot lunch for only $1 is being served Monday, Tucsday, Wed- to be found right at hand on the North Shore; most are imexpensive and many are free. To give you some ideas, the library has published a little booklet entitled “A North Shore Christmas”. Copies can be obtained free of charge at any branch of North Van- couver District Library. Library patrons of all ages are invited to Christmas Open House in all three branches this week. The libraries are all decked out for the holidays, and displays nesday and Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Square dancing takes place Monday 1-3 p.m. with a very good dance instructor. There is still tithe to register. Other types of dances will also be taught as part of the session during the winter months. The first season of chair exercise classes has just ended and registration for the second part of the chair exercise program will start in January.
