bh g Odours emitting from sinks and basins cannot be masked
by deodorizers or hot water down the drain. Soaps, sham- |
poos and food substances while going down the drain tend to
cling to the side of the drain pipe berween the drain hole and
the trap, eventually building up and leaving a very small hole
for water to drain away. This is indicated by the water draining

slowing to a trickle.

To correct this problem remove the centre drop drain tail
piece, normally brass or ABS plastic in kitchen sinks and
chrome in the bachroom, from the trap adapter. Using a bottle
washing brush, scrub the residual from inside the tail piece with
Ammonia and replace.
