The school’s intermediate and senior concert bands as well as the senior jazz ensemble, jazz combo and advanced strings suasicians will pertormy in concert Wednesday, Feb. 24 at Centennial Theatre when Handsworth presents its 13th Sound Spectacular. Special quest is Bruce Hoadley, a professional euphonium player and trombonist who was a band teacher at Handsworth Arms and the Man by G.B. Shaw at the Deep Cove Shaw Theatre to Feb. 27. Captain Bluntschii is the Swiss mercenary who carries chocolate into battle in his ammunition pouch. Chased off the battle field and into Catherine’s hote! room he attempts to reconcile decorum with safety. He has already met Catherine’s fiancé, Sergius, on the battlefield. Unaware of the connection, Biuntschli describes Sergius as the fool who led a cavalry charge against cannon.
