LAST FRIDAY evening there was a private reception at Diane Farris’ art gallery for a preview peck at Kathryn Jacobi’s latest works of art. The item is that Kathryn is a well-known American artist whose latest works were created during a three-month sojourn this summer in Sechelt where she and her hus- band have five acres of land. They love the peace and tran- quility of Sechelt and the Sunshine Coast. It’s a very healthy en- vironment for her busy husband, actor Richard Dysart, who’s prob- ably better known as Leyland MacKenzie, the eider-statesman star of the TV series L.A. Law. He’s such a lovely, down-to- earth person.
