It takes place at Le Meridien Hotel at 6:45 p.m. The guest speaker for the even- ing will be Maria Leone, | vice- president of the well-respected de- signer boutique Leone. Maria will discuss the relationship tbe- tween a designer and a retailer, and will also provide insight into how B.C.’s current economic sit- uation will affect the retail in- dustry in the future. The fashion show portion of the meeting will highlight three of Vancouver’s successful hat de- signers in a lively presentation featuring both casual toppers and sophisticated evening chapeaux.
