Bonneville models offer variety

FROM THE European en-
thusiast-inspired SSE to the LE,
Bonneville offers a range of
features for a variety of customer
needs.

Three models are available:
Bonneville SSE, Bonneville SE,
and Bonneville LE.

All Bonnevilles are powered by
the 3.8-litre ‘‘3800°" V-6 engine, a
90-degree V-6 with multi-port se-
quential fuel injection, developing
165 horsepower and 210 Ibs. ft. of
torque. The 3,800, equipped with a
balance shaft to eliminate the
primary engine shaking force
normally found on 90-degree V-6
engines, is teamed with a four-
speed (three plus overdrive)
automatic transaxle.

For 1989, anti-lock brakes
(ABS) are available on al! Bon-
nevilles, and continue as standard
on the SSE. ABS ccntributes
greatly to vehicle manoeuvrability,
enabling the car to stop in a con-
trolled straight line under all sur-
face conditions.

Bonnevilles.

A new Grand Prix-style steering
wheel with hub-mounted radio and
climate controls, in conjunction
with automatic air conditioning, is
available on LE and SE and
standard on SSE models. The
lineup includes three sound
systems, a base four-speaker
system, an optional six-speaker
system, and a Delco ‘Enhanced
Audio’’ system with eight
speakers, standard on SSE.

Storage space throughout the car
has been increased; trunk utility
has been improved by raising the
rear speakers, and a cargo com-
partment security net is standard
on SE and SSE, available on LE;
glovebox capacity has been in-
creased 50 per cent; an additional
front seat storage armrest has been
added for the 55/45 seats; and the
map pockets in the doors have
been redesigned to improve overall
customer convenience.
