tecorded by Pete Silverster
and the Zambonies, went on
sale this week with half the
purchase price of $1.99 go-
ing to minar hockey associa-
tions throughout the Lower
Mainland. Associations in
both North and West Van-
couver are involved in the
project.

The song, recorded on
Flat Puck Records, was put
together earlier this year,
based on the hero of a Ca-
nadian Tire commercial that
gained almost cult-like sup-
port and considerable
publicity through such
publications as Sports Il-
lustrated and USA Today.

Albert created a local stir
during the depths of the
Vancouver Canucks losing
streak .early in the season,
when fans began to chant his
name. That prompted Ca-
