PS mailbox i Beautify alley to stop rowdies OPEN LETTER TO MAYOR 5.E. LOUCKS Local residents have a right to peace and quiet. Small business owners have a right to make a living. Asa resident of Lower Lonsdale and as a small business owner I am céncerned about the problem of noise and violence occurring in the alley between Fast Eddies and 7 Eleven on the corner of Third Street and Lon- sdale. I do not think that Fast Eddies or the 7 Eleven are totally responsible for this problem. Rather, it is the existence of a dark dingy alley between the two, which provides a perfect arena for noise and violence. I would like to suggest that the City, in co-operation with the two businesses, illuminate and beautify the alley. I do think this would go a long way in eliminating the problem at hand.
