of cperating a North Shere Crisis Residential faciti.
ty within the area of the Fraser Valley/lorth Shore -
Region, Mental Health Services. The facility will be_
located in the community of North Shore and should
be centraily located, close to the Lions Gate Hospital.

The development will consist of:
A 68 single bedroom facility where short-term
housing will be provided during a psychiatric crisis.
Acute treatment-and support services will also be -
provided to avoid hospitalization.

Proposal information:

1. Ministry of Health provides funding based on:
Service Provider Standards and Guidelines,
Community Residentiat Program, Mental Health
Service, Province of B.C., Ministry of Health.

2. The Ministry is interested in proposals that would
adhere to providing facility care to mental health.

(i) Community Care Facilities Licensing Act
Adult Care Regulations - 1980 -

(ii) Mental Health Act
