IT wouldn’t really have
mattered who was per-
forming.

Bright sunshine, fresh, cool
air and 2 ring of glaciers sliding
down dark mountain peaks —
it was the pertect day, ar! the
perfect view, for the final con-
cert of the Whistler Summit
setics.

More than 6,000 people
tuok the gondola ride to the
top of the mountain Sunday to
sit, ke down, stand or dance in
the concert bow! for a tiple bill
of The Philosopher Kings,
Spirit of the West and Amanda
Marshall.

The crowd itself could have
almost provided entertainment
enough. People-watching takes
on an extra element of fun
when same of those being
observed are teetering around a
mountainside in platform and
chunky-heeled shoes.
