THE newest addition to the farm family at Maplewood Farms is a Hereford heifer calf (left), born at 6:15 a.m.
on Thursday, Oct. 24. Mother Sophie (right) and the new calf, named Jewel, are reportedly doing well (in fact
the caif is tipping the scales at 85 Ibs.). The North Vancouver District-operated farm is open to the public from
