Fulierton, Stolen: BCLSJ067 plate from vehicle Toboggan race slated THE 15TH annual Great Northern Concrete Toboggan Race comes to Mount Seymour on Feb. 3 and 4. Hosted by the University of British Columbia’s Civil Engineer- ing Club, the race will be attended by approximately 35 teams from enginecring faculties and technical institutions from across Canada. The toboggans are made of con- crete and are designed to carry 2 five-person team down a straight run at speeds of up to 50 km/h. Judging of the toboggans will take place between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. at the Student Union Building concourse at UBC on Feb. 3. The race begins at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 4.
