have eaten twice at the Jagerhof restaurant at

69 Lonsdale in North Vancouver in the last two

weeks. Once by myself during the week and the
second time on a Saturday night with my wife and
another couple.

On both occasions the
food was very good and the
poruons large. But I must say
that the mid-week experience
was*’'much more enjoyable.
The restaurant was only half
full, you could hear the music
in the background and the
service was efficient.

to be quite noisy and the ser-
vice left something to be
desired. But on the whole we
enjoyed the evening and felt
we received value for our din-
ing dollar.

in schnitzel but offers such
items as reindeer steak
($12.95), deer ragout ($9.85),
buffalo schnitzel ($12.95)
and chicken kiev ($9.85). All
dinner items are from $7.95
to $12.95.

To begin we ordered the
tomato and onion. salad
($2.75), the mushroom salad
($2.95) and two house salads
($1.75).
