During his time at St. Clerment’s,
Barnes has seen the parish grow to”

with an average Sunday attendance |

of 155 people.

with the average age being just
over 40. He attributes this to ‘ta

the Lynn Valley community
through conducting regular ser-

years, and at Cedarview Lodge for
five years.

He is hosorary chaplain ‘for the
West Vancouver Yacht Club,
where he moors his sailboat. Sail-
ing is a favorite hobby, which he
puts to good use with such projects
as directing a.recent sailing camp
at Camp Artaban on Gambier

Barnes. estimates that it won't be
