Elegant Flea Market on Saturday, Nov. 5 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The
sale at the church, located at 2ist and Esquimalt, will feature toys,
furniture, household goods, clothing, jewelry, shoes, purses, records,
cameras and books. Some special items include an antique pump
organ, quilted blankets, silver and crystal, and two church pews.

Library plans events

NORTH VANCOUVER City Library has lined up a
series of svents for November.

PJ Storytime on Wednesday, Nov. 2 at 7 p.m. will
feature funny stories for four to eight year olds.
Children can wear their pyjamas and enjoy hot cocoa.
Coffee is provided for adults.

The iibrary will hold a book sale on Saturday, Nov.
5 from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Canadian author Welwyn Wilton Katz will visit the
library on Tuesday, Nov. 15 at 9:30 a.m. during Ca-
nadian Children’s Book Week. Students, teachers and
other interested adults are asked to pre-register as
space is limited. False Face is one of the newest titles

PJ Storytime on Wednesday, Nov. 16 at 7 p.m. will
feature stories by Canadian authors for 4 to 8 year
olds.

A model-making workshop for children nine to 12
years of age will be held on Saturday, Nov. 26 at 1:30
p.m. Pre-registration is required.

During November and December children are in-
vited to decorate the library’s Christmas tree. Every
time they read a book, children can add an ornament
to the tree.
