Having spent most of our
time in the German-speaking
part of Switzerland, we
decided it was time to dip
into the French culture and
take a short trip to Neuchatel
which sits on along lake with
the same name. This lovely
town has a very relaxed
atmosphere.

Shoppers linger in) the
street markets and All their
locally crafted baskets with
fresh produce. Cates spill out
onto the street and children
feed the swans from the
quayside. From here, we
climbed up the hill ro visir
the 12th century-castle and
adjacent church. The old
