Lecture examines

THE REVOLUTION of Innocence
is the topic of a free one-hour talk
being sponsored by the First
Church of Christ, Scientist, West
Vancouver.

Godfrey John, a member of the
Christian Science Board of Lec-
tureship, will speak at 3 p.m. on
Sunday, Feb. 18 at West Van-
couver United Chruch, 2062 Es-
quimalt Ave. (21st and Marine).

“HEALTH IS inner peace and
healing is letting go of fear’’ is one
of the principles behind attitudinal
healing and is also the basis of a
new multiple sclerosis (MS) sup-
port group on the North Shore.
The group begins Monday, Feb.
19 at Lions Gate Hospital, seminar
rooms 3 and 4, from 7 to 9 p.m.

A summary of the lecture states:
“This lecture presents spiritual in-
nocence as a revolution going on in
consciousness. It explores the
largely untapped power of this
kind of innocence, which is iden-
tified as our spiritual childlikeness.

The talk discusses the idea that
“our religion neglects the child. It
will be seen that scientific Chris-
tian prayer is safe and effective. II-

every month. It is designed to help
people mobilize their full resources
against their illness and discover
alternative techniques to live a bet-
ter quality life.
