LESSENING THE ‘‘generation
gap’ is the goal of West Van-
couver students involved in a
special course, the Challenge Pro-
gram.

This Thursday the students will
participate in a one-hour show,
called Who Am I? The Genera-
tion Connection. to be aired on the
Knowledge Network at 7 p.m.

Student Heather Kyle, who will
be featured in the show, said the
generation gap is really an excuse.

“(t's) something you say to
someone of another generation
svhen communication has broken
down and you can’t, or you don’t
want to, rectify the situation,’’ she
said.

“There really is no generation

gap, only a communication gap.”*

Also involved in the show will be
members of the West Vancouver
Seniors’ Activity Centre.

Kyle and senior citizen Alma
Reynolds will be interviewed by
host Marion Langdale on the
show’s topic.

Viewers will be invited to phone
in questions to the guests.
