As well as the flooding
there and the problems with
the cplvert on -Eyremount,
he. said, he was aware of
several areas where culverts
were blocked with debris. In
those .cases, he said,
municipal crews were able to
get them unplugged in time

to preyent more flooding.

“Everybody put in a pretty
good ‘effort .to keep the
flooding from. spreading,”
Ng said of the work done in
the Ross Crescent area by
municipal crews, police,
firemen and a number, of
volunteers. i
