dren Cnris and Mary: sister Eva
and Scherger (Peter) and neph-
ews Peter, David and Dennis;
her Sister-in-law Kay and brother-
in-law Chuck (Irene) and many
other nieces and nephaws. Cre-
mation at her request. A celebra-
tion of her fite will be hefd at the
Kiwassa Neighbourhood House,
2425 Oxtord St. on September 7
at 2:00 p.m. In tieu of flowers

SMITH - Paul. Passed away in
his 82nd year at Bumaby Gener-
al Hospital on August 31.2000.
Paul was predeceased by his
wife Dianne in 1972 and by his
daughter Donhi Cheyne in 1999.
He will be sadly missed by his
son John; his daughters Sharen
Rastad (Norm) and Judy Sankey
(Wayne): his brother Marvin
(Helen); and his ten grancdchil-
dren and ten great-grand-
children. Paul served five (5)
years in the Royal Canadian Na-
vy during World War Il. He wilt
be fondly remembered for his in-
dependence, his sharp wit, and
his generous nature. Many
thanks to Or. Froese and the
staff at the George Derby Care
Centre, and to Dr. Caswell and
the nursing staff at Bumaby Gen-
erat Hospital. There vil! be no
service by request. Flowers
gratefully declined.
