Richer’s defence lawver Victor Svacek agreed to adjourn the show cause hearing to today. Richer has consented to stav in jail since he was charged more than a week ago in North Vancouver. He worked as a security guard and had been living in a rooming house in the 400-block of East 2nd Street. Richer also delivered the News tor five vears. His paper delivery job ended in August. Richer, who has a French-Canadian accent and wears one earring, had a Deep Cove paper route. At the time of his arrest, Richer was living with a friend in Squamish.
