FASHION Makeup artistry taught LEARN THE how-to’s of makeup artistry at a program offered by RecCentre Karen Magnussen this winter. Participants will! learn tech- niques for applying both day and evening makeup in this practical course. ‘Learn how to look your best each day as well as for special oc- casions, weddings, and both color and black ane white photography. Participants will explore color combinations, how to enhance features and how to change the shape of features using various makeup application techniques. Course instructor Jackie Anaka is a modelling and makeup artistry instructor who trained with Ramona Beauchamp. For the past four years Anaka has taught makeup artistry and junior modelling courses for both Ramona Beauchamp and the North Vancouver Recreation Commission. Her extensive training has taught her how to bring out the best features in each individual. The makeup artistry course will be held on Wednesdays, 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at RecCentre Karen Magnussen.
