Open burning vetoed THE BURNING of dry garden refuse will be permit- ted in the District of North Vancouver all during the months of April and Oc- tober in 1985, however, open burning is not slated to become a regular occurrence in the District. A proposed amendment to Section 19 (c) of the District’s Fire Bylaw 5344 had recommended that the | burning of dry garden refuse be permitted throughout April and October in any given year. However, Mayor Marilyn Baker stated she was against a complete reversion back to ope: burning in the District. Ald.
