It has replaced the old G and P Steakhouse in the quiet litthe Dundarave village. By LEN SLADE The West Shore is open seven days a week for dinner from 5:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. and for lunch Monday to Fri- day from 11:30 to 2:30. We arrived for dinner about 9:00 p.m. Although we did not have a reservation we had no difficulty getting a table. Once seated we noticed that the decor had not been changed extensively by its new owners and the layout is basically the same as the old G and P. Accompanying my wife and me for dinner were former Whitecap Daryl Sam- son and his lovely wife Karen. We ordered a round of drinks and casually chat- ted while deciding what to order. : Appetizers range in price from $4.50 for escargots or barbecued beef on a skewer to $5.50 for smoked salmon or oysters on the half shell.
