Discover splendors of Italy EXPERIENCE THE Splendors of Italy when North Shore Continu- ing Education and Vancouver Community College Continuing Education jointly sponsor a 20-day educational tour. Happening May 11 to 30, the Splendors of Italy focuses par- ticular attention on art and ar- chaeology, and allows for leisure time. The journey will cover Milan, Venice, Revenna, Florence, Pisa, Assisi, Rome, Naples, Sorrento and Pompeii. The tour is led by Karin and George Storey. Karin holds a Masters degree in Art Education and has extensive travel experi- ence, George is a seasoned traveller and tour manager. Together they have led many successful tours to the Mediterranean countries. The trip is suitable for all ages. The ability to walk at a reasonable pace is required. There will be two pre-tour orien- tation sessions — slides and discussion on the trip, travel in- formation, advice, brochures and maps. These sessions also permit a single person to meet and choose a roommate for the program. Program costs are $3,799, based on 21 or more registrations. Single supplement is $490.
