critic Mark Rose, represented B.C.
at the conference, which was
designed to provide Canadian and
American Icgislators with insight
into the free-trade talks,

Following the announced
suspension of free-trade talks be-
tween the two countries Wednes-
day, Ree said he remained confi-
dent there would be an agreement
signed.
