Jeff Johns

deff Johns delivers 200 of our Friday News in the
Norgate area of North Vancouver. Many of our
readers along his route have called to tell us what a
fine job he does. On the many wet Fridays we have
had lately, Jeff has made sure every house on his route
received a dry paper, by putting the papers in a plastic
bag. That is one of the things that makes for star car-
rier status.

Jeff is 11 years old and a grade 6 student at Norgate
School. He is a member of the school band and plays
the trumpet. He enjoys belonging to a scout troop and
along with being a News carrier, scouting is a good
foundation for the future.

Jeff saves most of his earnings, but at this time of
the year he is using some, to do his Christmas’
shopping.

We enjoyed meeting this fine young carrier and for
being our star this week, he received, complimentary
movie passes, a North Shore News baseball cap and a
special thanks for a job very well done.
