The first team will continue in Division I of the British Columbia Mainland Cricket League, where a continued high = stan- dard of play can be expected. The second team will start its hfe at the bottom of the league in Division IV, where the calibre of cricket will be less exacting. The club will now be in the fortunate position to provide playing op- portunities both to first rate cricketers and to the less skilled, along with openings to novices anxious to learn the game and get in on the ground floor. Practices have already begun and take place at Norgate Park every Wed- nesday from around 5 p.m. onwards. There will be an additional get-together this coming Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. Newcomers are welcome to turn up to these practices, or if they prefer they may telephone the club president, Ted Harris, at 988-9693, or Amba Sharma at 988-7754.
