HANDSWORTH suc-
cessfully defended its
title at the North
Shore/Burnaby/New
West zone high school
swim championships
held in North Van this
weekend.

Handsworth finished atop
the 17 team field with 182
points collected by its 36 ath-
fetes. Burnaby North finished
second with 160 points while
Sentinel and West Vancouver
rounded out the top tour with
138 and 136 points, respective-
ly.

Leung's 1996 finish of 41.20.
